It’s Never Too Late…

This is my first “spiritual inspiration” post!  It has been on my heart lately to encourage everyone and anyone that I can, simply because of the state we are in as a culture and nation.  So many people are struggling right now, financially, emotionally, physically and spiritually.  I even feel stuck in a rut, but I am encouraged through reading the Bible and prayer.  Over the past couple of days, I’ve just wanted to reiterate that it’s never too late to make a change.  We often feel “stuck,” whether bills are mounting or pressures from other people…but we do have power.

We can change our spending habits, we can say “no” to societal pressures.  Sometimes we don’t feel strong enough, and that we can ask for help….being vulnerable is a strength, not a weakness.  That phrase “no man is an island,” that is true, no one person can “do-it-all.”  That’s why if you are struggling in a particular area of your life,  find someone who can help and who will hold you accountable; find someone who will empower you and encourage you.  The Lord has made us to be in community with one another, to work together and lift each other up, so that we can glorify Him.  God chooses to move and speak through people, so it helps if we are trying to listen to Him, and then we can help others.  Let’s choose the abundant life….don’t give up because what you are looking for is closer than you think :)
