Lemongrass
I live in Florida mosquito capital of the world, but I am determined to enjoy the rest of Spring and Summer outdoors, without fear of these blood-sucking inhabitants! Since we have been sprucing up our backyard a bit, it only makes sense to add plants that will help us enjoy the place in which we are to relax ;) Here are some plants that I will be tracking down and purchasing to help ward off mosquitoes from our neck of the woods:

I found this article that gives more information about the top three plants I listed. Other plants that repel mosquitoes are Rosemary, Citronella plant, Catnip, Mums, and Basil. I hope this helps your yard become skeeter free ;)
