It was actually a lot bigger than this....

 

I got the idea to dry out some of my fountain grass clippings while trimming it the other day.  Our red fountain grass has gotten really huge and after a rain storm, most of it had just fallen over.  So I took this obvious cue and trimmed the grass which now looks like this:

However, I saved like a third of the clippings so that I could dry them out and use them indoors.  I already had some twine on hand, so I sorted the grass into bundles and pulled out any random clippings that were no good and tied each bundle.  Now I need to find a dry dark place to store them….I’m thinking my laundry room ;)
